Youtube is today's most important video site and some would say search engine. Some of us use it for funny videos, others for listening to music. We don't know whether Youtube is being used for its intended purpose for today's users, but there are different stories that will surprise everyone at the foundations of Youtube.

YouTube Founded by 3 Former PayPal Employees
The three friends, Jawed Karim, Chad Hurley and Steve Chen, were former employees of the Paypal payment system. Later, these three friends took a step that would change the entire history of the internet and founded Youtube on February 15, 2005.

Youtube Reasons for "Utube"
Youtube.com was registered in 2005. It didn't take long for Utube, a pipe company with the same address, to get into trouble because people wanting to access Youtube kept utube.com, and therefore the company, busy. As a result, Utube took the situation to court but failed to win. As a last resort, Utube moved the company website to another address.
Gangnam Style
The most watched music video is still Gangnam Style. At the time of writing this article, the number of views for the video was 4,617,370,831. This shows that the record held by the video is not easy to break.
