Artisan Receives Investment

AI startup Artisan announced this week that it has raised $2.3 million to create the first human-like digital employees. Ava is a sales representative who will start on 4 December. Currently, she automates the entire outbound sales cycle. But soon she will be able to automate the entire sales cycle, do most things herself and act as a human co-pilot when needed. The startup plans to launch five more Artisans next year.

Artisan AI wants to create the future of the workforce with its human-like virtual employees called craftsmen. In just two months, the company has grown from a paper idea to a team of five. It has invested over $2.3 million. Its first Artisan Ava went live in less than a month. The startup will join the Y Combinators Winter 2024 cohort starting in January. Participants in the Pre-Seeding round include Bayhouse Capital and Oliver Jung. The funds will help expand the team, especially in the areas of engineering and product.
