Identity verification platform Bureau has secured an additional $4.5 million in Series A funding round, in addition to $12 million. Launched in 2020 by Ranjan R Reddy in San Francisco, the identity verification platform has received a total investment of $20.5 million to date. Bureau's latest investment round included GMO Payment Gateway, GMO Venture Partners, Commerce Ventures and Quona Capital.

Bureau Creates Strategic Partnership with GMO Payment Gateaway
The platform also scans users' e-mail addresses, cell phone numbers, digital information such as IPs and information in government databases. The authentication platform stated that it analyzed 300 million identities in the last 12 months. At the same time, it announced that its revenues increased 6 times. The startup also acquired inVOID, a startup of Y Combinator alumni. It also formed a strategic partnership with GMO Payment Gateway.
The startup has offices in India and Dubai. Bureau will make additional investments in AI and data capabilities to expand its platform's technology. The platform currently operates in 20 markets. With the investment it has received, it aims to operate in over 100 markets worldwide.
