Büyütech, Developing Smart Camera Systems, Receives $600,000 Investment

Büyütech, which develops smart camera systems, had previously received an investment of 2.5 million Euros from Farplas. According to the information provided by Büyütech, it has now received a new investment. According to the information we have obtained, the company received an investment of 600 thousand dollars from Bilişim Vadisi and OSTİM Venture Capital Investment Funds managed by APY Ventures.

What do we know about Büyütech?

It was established in 2011 by Ömer Orkun Düztaş and Alparslan Işıklı. Büyütech was developing camera-based solutions used in many areas such as vision processing and applications for the defense industry. In 2020, the startup decided to focus on the automotive sector with its experience in cameras and camera-based technologies. Thus, it started developing solutions in the field of advanced driving support systems. Meanwhile, in 2022, Büyütech established its automotive-grade camera factory in the Informatics Valley. In the first quarter of 2023, Büyütech started production in its factory, and it is stated that with the completion of the new investment round, the expansion plan for the factory will be put into effect.

Ömer Orkun Düztaş, co-founder and CEO of Büyütech, made a statement indicating that the company continues its product supply and R&D processes with three automotive companies. And in this statement, he stated that APY Ventures was their primary investor in this investment round. Düztaş completed the investment round with 4 million dollars. He also stated that they will continue to work on their relations with international automotive companies with the contribution of the know-how they have gained in Turkey. Mustafa Keçeli, Fund Manager of APY Ventures, stated that they are very happy to invest in Büyütech, which they believe will make a meaningful contribution to the region's Bilişim Vadisi GYF and Ostim GYF and the Turkish Startup Ecosystem, focusing on startups that report activity in the mobility vertical. In the meantime, he also stated that Büyütech is the first investment of Ostim GSYF.
