Nespresso x Vélosophy
Launched last week at the Cannes Film Festival, the new RE:CYCLE represents the perfect balance of sustainability and style. Vélosophy has brought back Nespresso fan-favorite touches such as the capsule-shaped bell and coffee cup holder for the best coffee experience on the go. The new version features the so-called "California Dream Blue" color inspired by Nespresso's Summer 2023 campaign and will be available in both standard and eBike versions.
A collaboration between Nespresso and Swedish bicycle brand Vélosophy, RE:CYCLE has a frame made of 95% recycled aluminum. 20% of this recycled material was obtained from waste Nespresso capsules. The bike's bell is shaped like Nespresso's Vertuo capsule. The basket contains two cup holders to carry coffee safely. They make it possible to drink coffee even when the bike is in motion.
Vélosophy will donate a bicycle for every one sold to female students in a developing country. For every RE:CYCLE bicycle created in collaboration with Vélosophy and Nespresso, they will contribute another bicycle through World Bicycle Relief. The RE:CYCLE bike will be available exclusively from Vélosophy at the end of July 2023 for 1590 euros for a standard bike and 2,795 euros + shipping for an eBike.
