EMERGE Tech Conference Wraps Up in Istanbul with $1M investment commitment for Startup winners!

US-based Boomerangme, Turkey-based TYMY and UAE- based Pass24.online emerged victorious among over 100+ startup applicants at the EMERGE International tech conference, which took place in Istanbul on 2-3 October. Venture fund Contribution Capital will invest $1M in one of the selected startups after due diligence.

The EMERGE conference was attended by 100+ investors, VCs and Angels from local and global markets, including Turkey, MENA, Europe, the USA, the UK, India and others. Also present were over 150 startups from 20 nations and over 1500 delegates from more than 30 countries. Representatives from leading investment funds Early Bird, 500 Global, Plug and Play, Heartfelt (ex APX), Molten Capital (ex Draper Esprit), Depo Ventures, Vestel Ventures, Revo Capital, and many others took part in the conference.

Erol Özgüner, Chief Innovations Officer at Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, visited EMERGE on the first day of the conference and shared his welcome message at the opening ceremony.
