Talking about the ‘group gift’ feature, which has not been used before in e-commerce in Turkey, the founders of Givlon said the following:
When a user who is preparing for marriage or expecting a baby marks a product as a ‘group gift’, several people who are considering buying a gift can buy the product by dividing the total cost. Therefore, the ‘group gift’ feature allows everyone to contribute to the desired product at the rate of their budget. The person given the gift can add the larger and needed products to the Givlon list without hesitation, and the people who buy the gift contribute to a more meaningful gift that they are sure will be used, at the rate of their budget. It is breaking new ground in terms of getting to know the user and understanding their needs, preparing a special checklist for him, presenting both wedding (new house) and baby lists together, and the group gift feature.
