It makes sense that Microsoft would be interested in Chat GPT because this is potentially something that could automatically generate voice responses to emails. And it’s the kind of thing that can write first drafts that can then be edited down to their final form. They’re also very interested in using it to extend what Bing can do right now.
Microsoft’s search engine has always lagged far behind Google. And Chat GPT could give the search engine an advantage over its more successful counterpart.
