Praso wholesales products such as oil, flour and milk to small businesses such as restaurants, cafes and bakeries. The Brazilian e-commerce platform’s Series A investment round was led by NFX and Valor Capital. Endeavour Scale-Up, Base Partner, Iporanga Ventures and Formus Capital, founded by Cem Garih and Fethi Sabancı Kamışlı, also participated in this investment round. The Brazilian e-commerce platform has reached a total of $ 14.5 million in funding to date with its latest investment.
Praso Serves 120 Suppliers and 7500 Enterprises
The Brazilian e-commerce platform serves a total of 7500 businesses and 120 suppliers. It offers many different possibilities to businesses on its network, such as ordering wholesale products as well as logistics and tracking of products. The startup also develops end-to-end fullfilment support for businesses.
It enables manufacturers without supply chain experience to reach businesses to sell through the logistics network. The startup, which increased its revenue 7 times last year, aims to increase its revenue 3 times more by the end of 2023. It has signed a purchase with its new investment. The Sao Paula-based startup has acquired a startup called Floki. Floki automates regular material supplies by restaurants and small bars with artificial intelligence. However, no statement has yet been made by Praso on this issue.
