French quantum-as-a-service startup ColibriTD receives investment. It has completed a €1 million seed funding round. The funding will be used to support the development of a unique, hardware-independent quantum-as-a-service platform. Dr Laurent Guiraud, who comes from diverse backgrounds, holds a doctorate degree. A physics expert and successful product roles at Google and AWS, and a successful career in business development and corporate social responsibility, Hacene Goudjil founded ColibriTD with the aim of making quantum computing universally accessible to businesses across different sectors and industries.
Many industries are ready to benefit from ColibriTD’s innovation! From automotive to aviation to healthcare, the key challenges of decarbonisation, pandemics, climate change and more continue. These industries are looking for disruptive technologies to face these growing challenges. But struggling for access to this technology. ColibriTD was founded in 2019. It brought together an experienced team of researchers, complemented by key academics and industry partnerships. Their common goal is to deliver the first end-to-end quantum computing platform that aims to work on existing noisy and quantum computers!

The funding will enable ColibriTD to accelerate the development of its quantum service platform by working on existing hardware with applications in a wide range of industries, starting with aerospace and expanding to use cases in healthcare. It should also be noted for the financing. The funding will strengthen hardware and academic partnerships while launching ColibriTD’s open source strategy.
Quantum Computing (QC) can unlock enormous computing power to solve today’s challenges. Based on our hypothesis about Quantum Computing (QC), we believe that the connection between engineering tools such as simulation software and QC-full-stack is crucial. After meeting the founders of ColibriTD, we are convinced that we have found the right team and approach, supported by leading academic and industry experts.
