Turkish startup Apollo IoT offers artificial intelligence-based pioneering solutions in the field of energy monitoring and sustainability. According to the information obtained, the startup received an investment of $ 810 thousand over a valuation of $ 13.5 million in the round, including serial entrepreneur and serial angel investor Nevzat Aydin. We should mention Apollo IoT, which was established in June 2022. Unlike other players in the sector, it addresses energy and sustainability from a holistic perspective. It cooperates with more than 500 customers such as Yapı Kredi, Arçelik, Hitachi, Henkel, Migros, American Hospital, Acıbadem, Memorial, Medicana, Koç University Hospital and Horoz Logistics. It is also signing new collaborations.
Apollo IoT Also Plays an Active Role in Sustainability
Apollo IoT was first established in Izmir and then moved its centre to Istanbul. It is the only platform that can monitor energy use not only on the basis of consumption but also on the basis of cost without any investment cost. It is also the only platform that can monitor energy use not only on consumption basis but also on cost basis. Namely, Apollo IoT offers an artificial intelligence-based solution that can perform technical and financial analysis, optimisation and future consumption and cost estimation of energy expenses of enterprises.
Apollo IoT also plays an active role in the field of sustainability. It stands out in the sector with the solutions it offers in areas such as monitoring companies’ carbon zero targets, energy efficiency increase in accordance with ISO 50001 standard and SPP (Solar Power Plants) offsetting. It should be noted for the energy and carbon benchmarking module developed by Apollo IoT. It is the first and only platform in the world by providing companies with sector or facility-based energy intensity & carbon emission comparisons.
Although we are only 1.5 years old, the fact that we are working with most of the industry leaders in Turkey and that we have been awarded the best energy technologies award by EMRA is a concrete indicator that we are on the right track. Thanks to this investment, we will fulfil Apollo IoT’s future growth strategies with determination and proudly represent our country in the new markets we will enter in the near future.Ezgi Eylül Hasvatan Gavas, co-founder of Apollo IoT
