YAMY Studio, founded in 2020 based in Istanbul, is a Turkish game startup that develops hybrid-casual games by combining technology and creativity. The company, which received investment, increased its valuation to $ 8 million with the second investment it received from İz Yatırım Holding, Mübin Karpuzcu and other angel investors under the leadership of UP Venture Capital Co-Founder Ömer Uyan.

YAMY Studio
Since its establishment, YAMY Studio has a structure that carries out every step from game scripts to publishing processes in-house. The company, which meets with a wide range of players in the App Store and Google Play stores with games such as Hoop 4, Laundry Rush and Parents Run!, aims to expand its team and further develop its expertise in the hybrid-casual game genre with its new investment. Mikdat Doğru, Co-Founder of YAMY Studio, stated in a statement after the investment that they doubled their valuation in a short period of eight months. In addition to the 2 games they released to the global market in 2021 and 2022, he stated that with the investment they received from UP Venture Capital, they introduced their new game Laundry Rush to game lovers around the world.
Doğru emphasised that Laundry Rush reached 3 million downloads in a short time and stated that mobile games have an important economic potential. Stating that they use their data infrastructure effectively in order to increase in-game spending figures, Doğru also gave information about their future goals. The Co-Founder of YAMY Studio emphasised that they are planning to make a rapid entry into 2024 and that they will continue to increase user satisfaction with personalised experiences and grow with new games with high profitability potential in a period when the hybrid-casual game genre will be more differentiated within mobile games.
