Evident Vascular Receives $35 Million Investment

Evident Vascular leverages artificial intelligence to deliver superior imaging and streamlined workflows. It is a medical technology startup developing the next generation intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) platform. The startup announced its launch with $35 million Series A financing from Vensana Capital.

What is IVUS? It is a transcatheter intravascular imaging technique used to obtain images from inside blood vessels to assess vascular disease and guide interventional therapy. Although IVUS has made steady progress predominantly in coronary interventions, robust clinical research data supporting use in both coronary and peripheral interventions fuelling future market growth. Peripheral arterial and venous disease utilisation is now the largest and fastest growing segment of IVUS procedures in the US.
