Huawei HarmonyOS Introduces New Optimizations

Huawei has started to add lock screen optimizations to its own operating system, HarmonyOS, with a new update. Huawei then runs its own operating system for smartphones, HarmonyOS, which is not based on Google's Android operating system. However, in 2022, the company has significantly improved this operating system. It also continues to develop it at the same time. In addition, with the latest version, HarmonyOS 3 software, many different new features are coming. Recently, Huawei has started to implement new lock screen optimizations for smartphones and tablets running this software.

Huawei also started to roll out the HarmonyOS 3.0.0.192 update in China, trying to integrate new lock screen optimizations with security updates in December 2022. The feature that comes with the new update is available to the devices below.

Which Devices Have Huawei HarmonyOS Lock Screen Optimizations?

If you have one of the above devices, you can install the HarmonyOS 3.0.0.192 update by going to Settings > System Updates > Software Update, selecting Check for Updates and selecting Download and Install when the update details are available. Some devices may not show the update yet, this is due to the gradual distribution of updates to users. If you do not see the update yet, you can follow the latest update periodically. Personal data will not be deleted with the new update, but it is recommended that you back up all your important data before the update.

Last but not least, HarmonyOS 3 comes with a few new features and an improved user interface. It comes with smart folders, widget grouping and better system security. Last month, the Chinese company already added a new feature called Turbo Charging to its flagship Mate 50, P50 and Mate 40 series. With this feature, users can customize the charging interface to their liking.
