Innovasion Labs PINC was founded in the USA by Turkish scientist and entrepreneur Dr Inanc Ortac. The startup provides improvements in the performance of lithium-ion batteries. Innovasion Labs PINC received an investment of $2 million in a new investment round with the participation of investors from Turkey and the US. Angel investors from Turkey, including Kerim Kotan and Cihan Elbirlik, Vice President of İnci Akü, and APY Ventures led the round. From the US part, Keshif Ventures from the California technology ecosystem participated in the round.

Innovasion Labs PINC changes the limits of the material based on the geometry of the battery cells rather than improving certain components of the battery. It also improves battery performance. The geometry that the startup is working on significantly reduces the ion flow distance by using a structure in which the anode and cathode are intertwined, instead of the structure that merges on both sides of the anode and cathode we see in traditional systems. In this way, let's add. The charging time of batteries used in cars, phones, drones and other electronic devices can be reduced to a few seconds.
What is PINC's goal? It aims to increase the 80 per cent charging time to 2 seconds and the energy density above the 1,000 Wh/kg limit with its first prototype. In doing so, the company, which integrates the techniques of semiconductor nano technologies used at the industrial level into battery production, plans to keep the production cost low. The company aims to develop its pre-prototype with its technology that has completed its proof of concept in the laboratory environment with this investment round, and to strengthen its management team in the coming days and to move to the commercialisation process.
