Apple officially announced the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max during the "Wonderlust" autumn event. The new Pro models use a brushed titanium case instead of stainless steel. Apple says the new iPhone 15 Pro is the lightest professional model ever. It also has the thinnest bezels ever. The overall size has been reduced without reducing the screen size. The new iPhone 15 Pro also has a rumoured Action button instead of a mute switch. It can launch the camera app, call up Shortcuts or accessibility features, launch a voice memo and more.

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max
iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max include the all-new A17 Pro chip, Apple's first 3nm chip. USB-C I/O supports up to 10 Gbps data transfer with optional USB3 cable. 20% faster GPU includes mesh shading and hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
Now for the camera system. Apple says it's the equivalent of seven camera lenses (using three real lenses). A new nano-coating lens reduces glare. The 48MP sensor has improved low light performance. 48MP HEIF is now supported (no longer just ProRAW). 24, 28 and 35mm shots supported by the main camera. iPhone 15 Pro wins next-generation Portrait with 2x low-light performance and focus control.
The telephoto lens on iPhone 15 Pro Max features 5x optical zoom at 120mm focal length. The periscope lens is called a tetra prism design. Optical image stabilisation has also been improved with movement in three directions, one smartphone first. The ultra-wide sensor takes macro and 13 mm shots, complementing the seven focal lengths already mentioned.
Photos and videos can now be saved directly to Mac or external storage. ProRes also now goes up to 4K60 - Blackmagic camera level. For Vision Pro, the iPhone 15 Pro now also shoots "spatial video". It uses the ultra-wide and main camera to create 3D videos. This feature will be available some time after launch.
