Recently, Meta shared its plans for AR and VR products with its employees. Mark Zuckerberg predicts that the project, in which he has invested billions of dollars, will eventually be as widely used as cell phones. According to the published report, employees will be able to test the glasses during an "internal launch" in 2024. Afterwards, the company is expected to offer smart glasses to the first users under the name "Innovation" series.

The tech giant is rumored to launch a new pair of glasses that will project Meta avatars as holograms. The company is reportedly planning to release other AR and VR devices before launching full-fledged AR glasses. These devices are expected to include the new version of Ray-Ban Stories, developed in collaboration with Luxottica, and the Quest 3 virtual reality headset. Next year, the company is rumored to be planning to release a VR headset codenamed "Ventura". This VR headset is expected to be marketed as affordable.
