Missafir participated as a strategic investor in the pre-Series-A round in which Missafir received 1.1 million dollars of investment. Missafir will continue its growth strategy in the Adriatic region as well as Turkey.
Ege Yapı Chairman İnanç Kabadayı stated that they will continue to increase both their investments and strategic cooperation. He also said that they will add the houses of the projects designed by Ege Yapı to Missafir's portfolio. Ege Yapı's participation among the investors of the aforementioned home rental platform is also very important for the development of the PropTech field in Turkey.
The first short and medium-term home rental platform in Turkey has a total of 30 investors. Nezih Üzümcüoğlu, Altay Tınar, Bahar Pardorokes, Mehmet Onarcan, Hatice Cevher, Haşmet Güneş, Sedat Eratar and many other important names are among the investors of Missafir. Mete Varas, who stands out in the field of Proptech, is one of the advisors of the startup.

Missafir, a short and medium-term home rental management platform, has 2300 homes in its portfolio. The startup offers high profitability, fast, stress-free and secure home rentals to homeowners. For this purpose, it provides technological infrastructure, profile management and operational support services with dynamic pricing. The startup has developed 24/7 cleaning, communication and concierge services for the residents of the homes it serves. The startup, which currently operates in 3 countries, recorded 1100 percent growth last year. It has grown by an average of 1200 percent in the last 4 years with this data.
Mehmet Yüksel, the founder of the home rental platform, made statements about the investment they received. He stated that they are very happy to receive investment in PropTech from Turkey's major real estate player such as Ege Yapı. He mentioned that this investment is very important for Turkey. He emphasized that within 2 years, they aim to be the largest in both Central and Eastern Europe. He also added that they aim to be the largest in the world within the year. In the 2021 summer season, the Covid-19 pandemic significantly changed consumer preferences. In July and August 2021, Missafir's reservation requests increased by 300 percent due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
