Shift Robotics, a Pittsburgh-based robotics and engineering company, has invented AI-powered shoes called Moonwalkers that allow the wearer to walk 250 percent faster. An article was published by Vigor Times on Sunday. These wearables have already earned the title of "the world's fastest shoes."

Moonwalkers Features
The technology inside the shoes allows for instant reaction times. It makes them super agile to move seamlessly through crowds. It also allows wearables to adapt to your walking style. Besides, it reduces the risk of discomfort. It also gives a natural feel to your walk. The shoes are said to be extremely user-friendly and allow users to master many benefits in ten steps. The motor that powers them can also be turned off when climbing stairs or doing other activities where speed can be an obstacle. It also works very intuitively. Increase your speed to go faster and slow down to go slower.
But what about rough ground or rain? Don't worry, these can overcome those obstacles too. They are quoted as having eight overlapping wheels that can simulate a much larger diameter for climbing difficult terrain and even navigating puddles. The shoes will withstand a total recommended weight of 220 pounds. And they are equipped to carry a 300-watt electric motor. Users can reach speeds of up to 7mph. And they can cover 10k running distances without breaking a sweat.
Other features of the shoes include brushless DC motors, a water-resistant gasket, automotive-grade reinforced plastics, a 90-minute charge and a 10.5-mile range. According to Vigor Times, the shoes are expected to hit the market this summer. And they will cost 1,399 dollars.
