Known as the "Omer Brother" of the entrepreneurship world, Ömer Erkmen graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Electronics Department in 1979. He completed his master's degree in Computer Science at UCSB in 1984. Afterwards, he worked at Microsoft as a trainer and consultant in the field of CRM. He left his corporate life there and moved to Mekanist. He was a board member of Mekanist until 2015. With Zomato's acquisition of Mekanist in 2015, it was time for Erkmen to take an active part in the fields of entrepreneurship and investment.
In addition to his trainer and consultant titles, Ömer Erkmen took part in many projects as a founder, mentor and investor. Today, he still continues to work in the world of entrepreneurship and develop new entrepreneurship.
