Quantagonia is a company focused on quantum computing software. It successfully completed seed fundraising led by Tensor Ventures. It has also increased its total financing to €4.3 million. In addition to three European deep tech VCs, financial support came from a state holding company and a family office. Quantagonia's unique B2B Software-as-a-Service "Hybrid Quantum Platform" combines the advantages of both classical and quantum computing, and stands out for its capacity to use existing computer programs. What is the aim of the startup? The aim is to extend the benefits of the Hybrid Quantum Platform to a wide range of markets. The capital raised by Quantagonia will also be used for further product development and sales growth.

A growing number of companies are facing larger decision-making models and increasing demands on process controls. Traditional computers with their current architecture are approaching their limits when it comes to optimization algorithms, simulation processes and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Quantum computing is an emerging technology. It offers a potential solution to these problems by performing tasks much faster, even making solutions possible for the first time.
But what is the current challenge? The fact that existing program codes and applications are incompatible with the new quantum computers, requiring redefinition of algorithms and programs. Quantagonia envisions a revolution in computing and its applications: The Hybrid Quantum Platform. A platform that aims to facilitate the execution of existing program code on both classical and quantum computer architectures. This also paves the way for the deployment of innovative and predominantly AI-based solutions.
Quantagonia's Hybrid Quantum Platform gives customers access to applications in the AI, optimization and simulation industries. It seamlessly integrates with leading manufacturers of both classical hardware (e.g. CPUs and GPUs) and quantum hardware. Through the already available HybridSolver, customers can now also solve optimization problems with proof of optimality using both quantum computers and classical hardware. Even for customers who have not yet adopted active quantum applications, Quantagonia offers its expertise in conducting use case analyses and implementing future-proof solutions.
