Riverlane Focuses on Solving Problems in Quantum Computers
UK-based startup; founded in 2016. Riverlane was founded by Steve Brierley. The startup works to solve problems arising in quantum computers. It designs software and hardware for this. The startup, which continues its activities in the US, currently serves with 100 employees.
Quantum computers are known for performing complex calculations. In order to perform complex calculations, the number of qubits in quantum computers needs to be increased. Quantum computers are devices that use theoretical computing systems that allow the direct use of quantum-mechanical phenomena such as entanglement, overlap, etc. to process data.
The most complex calculations can be done in a short time with quantum computers. The qubits in quantum computers are called precision quantum bits. They are very error-prone. Riverlane is working to make quantum computers more useful.
