Robinhood Wallet
Robinhood wallet is a multi-chain and self-custodial Web3 wallet that allows users to own and exchange cryptocurrencies. This wallet allows users to have full control over their crypto and protects the private keys to their assets. After the beta launch in September, Robinhood Wallet made significant changes based on a lot of customer feedback. It now supports Ethereum and more than 50 ERC tokens, as well as Polygon. It also allows you to transfer cryptocurrencies such as COMP, MATIC, SHIB, SOL, UNI, USDC and many more.
The wallet also provides support for NFTs on Ethereum and Polygon, so users can safely store their favorite collections. Users can still exchange cryptocurrencies and tokens on Polygon without paying network fees. They can explore Web3, DeFi, and connect to their favorite apps. Robinhood notes that it has developed several tools for its customers to secure their Robinhood wallets. Users need to use a fingerprint, facial recognition, or a private PIN to verify their identity when they open the app. They need to create a secret recovery phrase that allows them to access their wallet and crypto. It is important to keep this secret phrase in a safe place and not share it with anyone.
Robinhood wallet is currently available to all iOS users, while Android support will come later this year. Android users can join the waiting list to be notified when it becomes available. A Web3 browser will be launched soon, there are plans to add support for other cryptocurrencies and expand the in-app rewards program.
