Sadriye Görece, known for the BlindLook application she developed for the visually impaired, was among the Best Women Entrepreneurs in Europe. Our successful entrepreneur Sadriye Görece was selected among Europe's best women entrepreneurs in the field of technology under the Women TechEU Program. Women Tech EU Program; It was prepared in 2021 at the point of technology and support of the European Union. A program called European Innovation Ecosystems (EIE) was also created with the program. The program aims to scale start-ups and create efficient innovation ecosystems. The Women TechEU Program was created for women who are in the top management (CEO, CTO) and founder/co-founder of deep technology startups. In short; women-led deep technology startups are supported by the program.

Sadriye Görece and BlindLook

Successful entrepreneur Sadriye Görece was born in Manisa in 1995. The young entrepreneur, who was visually impaired from birth, had a successful student life. The clearest example of this is that she received a scholarship from the US State Department after graduating from middle school. Görece went to the US in 2009 for his high school education. When she first went to the US, she had some difficulties, especially not speaking English. However, she later turned these problems into advantages and started to embrace her life there. After graduating from high school in 2013, she continued her education at Boğaziçi University.

Sadriye Görece worked to benefit visually impaired people like herself and to defend their rights. Therefore, her entrepreneurship adventure started in this field. The application called BlindLook emerged when she crossed paths with Cihat Ersin Aydın.

BlindLook was developed for 285 million visually impaired people to live their lives freely. The startup produces freedom technologies for the visually impaired. Sadriye Görece and Cihat Ersin Aydın aim for everyone to live in a barrier-free and equal world by utilizing the power of technology.
