While typical telephoto cameras have Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Tecno is ushering in a new era with a new lens. With this new lens, moving subjects can be captured in a much more stable way. It is possible to see these results much more clearly, especially in high-speed races.

Tecno Opens a New Era with New Lens
Tecno claims to have found a solution with the first of its kind. The lens has two prisms; each prism can rotate along an axis. One has a +/-8° angle and the other a +/-10° angle. According to Tecno, with two prisms combined, the camera can automatically track an object up to +/-16° on one axis and +/-20° on the other. The company calls this technology the "Eagle Eye Lens". The system also performs optical stabilization, of course, correcting for movements in the +/- 6° range. Both OIS and object tracking are automated by artificial intelligence.
The system works for both photos and videos and provides better image quality than doing it manually. The company says this will be useful in car racing, for example, allowing you to capture a sharp photo or a smooth image of fast cars passing by you. Tecno is working on premium smartphones with Eagle Eye technology that will be released next year.
