Turkish startup ikas, which offers e-commerce and e-export solutions to SMEs, announced today that it has received an investment with a content published on its website.
ikas, a new generation e-commerce infrastructure platform, received a seed investment of 3.5 million dollars with the participation of 500 Global, Revo Capital, OYAK Investment, Finberg and other important global investors. QNBEYOND Ventures, which are among the current investors of the company, and İlker Sözdinler, CEO of Joint Payments, were also among the investors.
The platform received its first investment of 3 million dolar (45 million TL) in August 2020. Having completed its second investment round two years later, ikas was among the startups selected for the second term of the QNB Finansbank QNBEYOND Venture Acceleration Program in March 2020.
The venture was established in 2018 with the partnership of Mustafa Namoğlu, Ömercan Çelikler, Tugay Karaçay and Umut Ozan Yıldırım. As of 2022, with the investment it has received, it has become competitive with companies such as Shopify, WooCommerce and Wix in Europe. With the seed investment, the company aims to develop its e-commerce infrastructure, accelerate its operations in Europe and further expand its existing team.

ikas Will Conduct Studies in the Field of NFT
In the announcement published on the website of the initiative, it was announced that they will continue to work on new features and integration to facilitate e-export with the investment. ikas plans to further integrate with accounting, ERP, logistics and marketing tools, especially in Germany and the UK. In addition, it has been announced that a surprise project related to NFT buying and selling will be implemented very soon.
Making a statement about the seed investment, ikas co-founder and CEO Mustafa Namoğlu said that with the lightning-fast e-commerce infrastructure they developed, they provided their customers with a great advantage in both conversion rates and SEO. Namoğlu said the following:“With our marketplace integrations, advanced e-export features, and affordable cargo deals, we help SMEs grow their businesses while saving money.”
The initiative, which has offices in Germany and England as well as Turkey, serves thousands of customers in 10 countries.
