At the CES 2022, more than 159 countries and more than 2100 technology companies brought their technologies to a single location.
At the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2022, the world's largest consumer electronics fair, held in Las Vegas, USA, Turkey's first pavilion was established for Turkish technology entrepreneurs with the support of the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA). The agency works under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
An area of approximately 150 square meters was rented in the EUREKA Park Fairground for the Istanbul Pavilion. 28 local technology startups participating in the pavilion had the opportunity to conduct customer interviews while exhibiting their products and technologies.
Technology products exhibited in EUREKA Park Fairground were from digital health, smart cities, driverless vehicles, augmented virtual reality, robotics, artificial intelligence, e-sports, cosmetics technologies and many consumer product industries.
While more than 2100 technology companies from 159 countries participated in CES 2022, 195 of them are companies on the Fortune Global 500 list, which lists the world's 500 largest companies.
28 Domestic Technology Initiatives Presented at CES 2022 Istanbul Pavilion & ISTKA
In the evaluation and selection process of startups in CES 2022, cooperation was first made with incubation venture centres and accelerator programs. Then, startup candidates with CES Eurekapark conditions were determined; Among the candidates, initiatives that would provide maximum benefit in terms of customer acquisition, competition success and sales were selected.
Among the Turkish technology initiatives introduced in the pavilion, domestic initiatives that offer robotics, data science and artificial intelligence coding training platforms to users, from portable breath analyzers; There were 28 startups, ranging from an attempt to identify companies selling fake or counterfeit products and e-commerce sites, to a local initiative that aims to unite gamers in a single digital VR universe.
