Turkish boat rental startup Viravira has now started to operate actively in 49 different countries. Viravira tries to gather the yacht chartering industry under one roof while also making important initiatives to make the sector more transparent and safer.
All of these factors make Viravira Turkey's leading boat rental platform. The startup has now started to expand its field of activity. With 8 new countries, 80 new locations and around 1000 new boats which were added to its portfolio, Viravira continues its services by growing and developing. Now, it has more than 12 thousand boats in 49 different countries.
Viravira was founded in 2016. The main purpose of the startup is to bring together boat owners and potential customers who want to rent these boats.

2022 Goals for the Company
Baran Yıldırım, co-founder and CEO of Viravira said that since the day they were founded, they have worked hard both to find solutions to the problems in the sector and to provide good service to the customers who prefer them through their platforms. He stated that they are proud of the fact that they have included around 2,000 gulets, catamarans, sailboats and motor yachts certified by the Ministry of Tourism in their system. He also mentioned that they are working hard to add a significant amount of the Turkish fleet of 3300 boats to their portfolio in the hourly rental segment.
Viravira, aims to increase the total number of visitors to over two million by the end of 2022 and to have 50 thousand new registered users, Yıldırım stated that they want to accelerate their international expansion strategies, which they had to slow down with the pandemic, with vaccination and also he added that 400 percent growth in turnover in 2022 is one of the most important goals of the Viravira initiative.
Expanding the customer portfolio has an important place among Viravira 2022 targets. The startup put the Knot system into service in 2021. Currently, one of the main goals is to expand this system and provide B2B services. In this way, Viravira will further develop the Knot system, which is a SaaS solution. In this way, the initiative will provide data flow to both physical agencies and online platforms.
