Turkish agrotech startup WeFarm announced that it has received an investment with a valuation of $ 2 million. No information was given about the financial details of the investment. Kıvanç Kesim, Ömer Erkmen and İzzet Zakuto participated in the Turkish startup's pre-seed investment round. The startup was founded by Erdem Yildiz in 2022. The startup transforms the fields of urban and peasant landowners into productive farms. As a result, it makes regular food and rent payments to farm owners. WeFarm offers an agriculture and technology platform to its customers. The Turkish startup increased the size of the fields it managed 16 times in the last production year. Thus, it became the fastest growing agricultural startup. WeFarm is a graduate of the QNBeyond Accelerator Programme.

WeFarm Will Increase Its Production Area Over 1000 Acres
The startup aims to increase its production area to over 1000 acres with the new investment it has just received. It records all stages of the healthy foods it produces from the field to the table on the blockchain and shares them with consumers. It uses special technology for this process.
Emre Yıldız plans to become the first agricultural unicorn by putting only 2% of the empty fields in Turkey into production within 5 years. In addition, Yıldız said that over 10,000 acres of field applications have been made to them in the last 2 months. Emre Yıldız also stated that at this rate, they will reach their targets before 5 years. Yıldız, the founder and CEO of WeFarm, also stated that their priority is to train "New Generation Farmers". He also stated that they started working to establish an agriculture and technology camp with the new investment.
